Revised Sixth Edition

The new ServSafe Manager Book 6th Edition, Updated with the 2013 FDA Food Code will be available for purchase on Thursday, April 3. This will coincide with the release of the new exam on April 1 that incorporates the 2013 FDA Food Code changes.

To help you prepare your students for the new exam, we have attached two change documents for your use. The first is for use as an instructor, and indicates where the changes are in the new book so you can be prepared when presenting the new material. The second is a document for your students to use, should you be teaching with the previous 6th edition material, which shows what content has changed in the course and might be touched upon in the exam.

ServSafe Policy Update

The National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF) has revised their exam testing policy again.  Examinees must now complete their testing within two hours.

Updates to the Exam Administration Handbook, Examinee Handbook, Proctor checklists, and Examinee Welcome Scripts have been posted to and are ready for download in the Exam Admin, Info and Forms section of the Instructor Resource Center.
