  • HTMP COMPETITION APPLICATION

15th Annual Florida HTMP Competition

The 15th Annual HTMP Competition will take place Monday, March 5, and Tuesday, March 6, 2017 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando.  The FRLAEF will cover some costs of the competing teams, including hotel stay and meals. Competition rules are available at the HTMP COMPETITION PAGE.

Based on feedback received after the 2017 event, the FRLAEF intends to modify the timeline for the 2018 event.  The FRLAEF’s intention is to begin the 2018 competition after lunchtime on Monday, March 5.  This will allow schools to travel in on Monday and not have to travel over the weekend.  The adjusted timeline means the competitions will end with an early evening awards dinner on Tuesday, March 6.  For schools with a long drive, the adjusted timeline may mean some teams stay overnight at the Rosen Plaza on Tuesday evening.

PARTICIPATION To be eligible to compete, the school must 1) have purchased and be using the Year One and Year Two HTMP curriculum 2) have returned a Fall HTMP Survey to FRLAEF and 3) complete the competition application. Please do not submit an application unless you meet these requirements.
