On behalf of the Women in Lodging Board of Directors, welcome to our website!  Women in Lodging (WIL) is a council developed by the American Hotel & Lodging Association to fuel the growth of women’s leadership into executive positions within the hospitality industry.  We are pleased to have an active chapter of WIL here in Florida!

Our mission is to promote the growth of women in the hospitality industry, enriching their lives both personally and professionally by empowering them to reach their full potential through education, encouragement and support, impacting the leaders of today and tomorrow as well as the community.

The Florida Chapter of WIL began in April of 2010, and continues to grow throughout the state today.  We have held several successful meetings in Orlando, and recently began hosting meetings in South Florida and Tampa Bay in order to continue to grow our mission across the state.  The Chapter is led by an active Board of Directors, and is currently engaged in scheduling meetings and seminars that will provide professional education and growth opportunities for our members.

Our vision is simple: to empower Women with Opportunities to Make A difference Now and to be a strong source for women in hospitality and in the community.
