FRLA Broward Chapter Mission Statement

To unite restaurants, hotels and allied members to have a political voice to promote educational programs and to provide information important and relevant to our industry

To all hospitality professionals and any affiliated businesses enthusiastic about our industry, a huge "Welcome" from the Broward Chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association.

We are truly in exciting times. This past year, we have taken two great organizations, Florida Restaurant Association and the Florida Lodging Association, and merged to become one great association, The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association. Both of these previous associations, have had a long history of great work in the areas of education, community service and addressing industry issues, especially where local politics is involved. Now the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) builds on this foundation, representing the state's largest employer, the hospitality industry which is almost a million employees. By the way, we are also one of Broward County’s largest employers.

Well, why do we exist?
We exist to bring people and resources together for the benefit of our industry, or officially "this Association has been formed to unite restaurants and lodging establishments in the State of Florida in the furtherance, by all proper and legitimate agencies and means, of the following purposes and objects. In addition, the purpose of the Association is to serve and support representatives of the hospitality industry of Florida in the promotion and protection of its members’ interests.
